Bonjour! Hi guys! My name is Annabelle Duneau and I am a French student studying in the US. I am majoring in International Business and will receive my bachelor degree in May 2019. I worked as a language coach at MiraCosta College for a year and interned in parallel with Professor DeMeo as her Teacher Assistant. I am very serious about my tutoring to provide the best experience possible for the students who are willing to learn. I, myself, know how it is to learn another language as I learned English when I moved to the States 4 years ago. I understand and adapt my explanation depending on the student understanding, way of learning and interest. My objective is to make sure that as a student you are comfortable enough to ask questions and try even if you are unsure on how to say something. I provide a “judgement free” environment. I made a fool out of myself so many times when I started speaking English and it is fine, I survived! You will too. I love seeing my student succeed. I guarantee you that with work and motivation, you can achieve your goal. So, when do we start? 🙂
Bonjour ! I am Justine, a French student who lives in Tours, near to Paris, the capital of France.
I graduated from François Rabelais University with a degree in Foreign Languages including International Trade. I recently did an internship in Miracosta College in California with Prof DeMeo during 3 months in order to become a French teacher after my Master in teaching. I want to help people learning French and my goal is to make them like my native language as much as I like it. I know it could be difficult sometimes but it could also be really easy when we make it interesting. I would like to share my experiences across my country, France and Europe as well, because I enjoy always discovering new places and cultures. Nature lover, I love hiking, biking and I do yoga. I also like to meet new people and learn from their experiences, that is why if you want to learn French, I would be more than happy to help you, then go for it ! 🙂
Bonjour! My name is Andrée-Anne and I am from Montréal, Canada. I was raised in a small francophone town, called Victoriaville. I recently moved to San Diego and so far I am in love with the West Coast. I really enjoy the beautiful weather and being so close to the ocean. I studied International Relations at University of Montreal and York University (Toronto). I also had the chance to study abroad for almost a year in Mexico City and pursue an internship at the Canadian embassy. I have a Master’s degree in International Public Law since 2016. Now that I am far from home and surrounded by English speakers, I would be so happy and proud to share my passion for French with others. I am looking forward to tutor people to advance their understanding of French language and culture, no matter their level. I am compassionate, patient and love helping others to achieve their goals. Outside tutoring, I enjoy practicing yoga, learning new languages, traveling, cooking vegetarian recipes, dancing and painting. I look forward to be your French Tutor!
